St. Thomas Aquinas College recently appointed Kelly Hernandez to the position of Admissions Counselor, announced Samantha Bazile, director of Admissions.  

Hernandez (Bronx, NY) graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in sport management and marketing from St. Thomas Aquinas College. She is currently pursuing her Masters of Business Administration degree from the College.  In her new role, Hernandez will be responsible for recruiting undergraduate students, reviewing applications from her territory and working with accepted students and their families on the admissions and financial aid processes.  She will also assist in the coordination of various campus events hosted by the Admissions Team.kelly-hernandez-cropped

“Kelly has assumed a strong supporting role for prospective STAC students in her new position as Admissions Counselor,” Bazile said.  “She will represent the College throughout various parts of Westchester, Manhattan and Brooklyn and assist in driving initiatives to recruit and enroll students.  As an alumna of the College, Kelly will be a great resource for prospective families,” Bazile added.

During her time as a STAC student, Hernandez held several internships and volunteered with AmeriCorps, where she was responsible for large groups of young children and taught reading, writing and listening skills. Her internship and volunteer experiences make her a strong representative for the institution.  Prior to joining the STAC Admissions Team, she served as an executive assistant in the finance and marketing department of Executive Monetary Management in New York, NY.
