The Mohawk Valley Community College Cultural Series will host “An Evening with Ufologist and TV Personality Bill Birnes” at 7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 23, in Schafer Theater, Information Technology Building, at MVCC’s Utica Campus. Admission is $5 general, $2 for MVCC employees, and free for MVCC students.
As a ufologist, Birnes collaborated with Philip J. Corso on “The Day After Roswell” and has appeared on the History Channel’s television documentary series “UFO Files,” “Ancient Aliens,” and NASA’s “Unexplained Files.” Birnes starred in Syfy’s “UFO Hunters” as leader of an investigative team of fellow ufologists, and later wrote a book by the same name documenting his experiences on the show.
