On Wednesday, Oct. 3, Netflix Co-Founder (and Hamilton College alumnus) Marc Randolph will give the lecture, “Start Something, Build Something, Do Something,” at 10 a.m. in the Jorgensen Athletic/Event Center Field House. On Wednesday, Oct. 24, Alexis Jones, founder of the nonprofit organization I AM THAT GIRL and the program ProtectHer, will give the lecture “Be a Good Human: Preventing Sexual Harassment & Inspiring Diversity and Inclusivity,” at 7 p.m. in Schafer Theater, Information Technology Building, at the Utica Campus. Tickets are $10 general, $5 for MVCC employees, and free for MVCC students. “Be a Good Human” is a solution-based response to the pandemic levels of sexual assault springing up around the country. Michael Glabicki and Dirk Miller of the band Rusted Root will perform a Listening Room Concert at 7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 13, in Festine Auditorium, Plumley Complex, at the Rome Campus.
