SUNY Ulster will hold a Fall Open House and SUNY Financial Aid Day for prospective students on Saturday, November 17, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Stone Ridge campus. The open house will feature academic program presentations, college preparation workshops, campus tours, and financial aid assistance.
The event for high school students, parents, and others interested in enrolling will cover numerous topics, from the admissions process through plans for transfer after graduation. Representatives will be available to talk to prospective students about the college’s 60 academic programs, services, resources, scholarships, campus life, student activities, athletics, and much more.
Financial aid workshops, hands-on financial aid counseling, and assistance in completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) will be offered in the morning. The Open House Info Fair will begin at 11:30 a.m. with additional breakout sessions. Campus tours will be offered throughout the day.
SUNY’s Statewide Financial Aid Days are offered as a service to all prospective college students and their families. The program is designed to answer questions and provide assistance on the financial aid application, types of aid available, and the award process. SUNY Ulster financial aid professionals will provide hands-on assistance in completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Web access to complete the online FAFSA will be offered on campus.
