Mohawk Valley Community College and SUNY Polytechnic Institute have added three articulation agreements and advising guides for students interested in transferring into SUNY Polytechnic Institute’s Interdisciplinary Studies bachelor’s degree program upon completion of associate degrees from MVCC in General Studies, International Studies, or Humanities and Social Sciences.
MVCC and SUNY Poly now have 17 similar articulation agreements through which MVCC students can use the associate degrees they earn to transfer into several of SUNY Poly’s programs, including Civil Engineering Technology, Electrical Engineering Technology, Biology, and Community and Behavioral Health.
The two colleges also have a general articulation agreement allowing for transfer of most credit hours taken at MVCC and a Dual Admissions program through which students can be accepted into both schools at the same time, complete courses at MVCC toward an associate degree, and have a spot reserved in a degree program at SUNY Poly when they are ready to continue on to complete their bachelor’s degree requirements.
