Micro-scholarships are available to students through STAC’s RaiseMe program for a wide range of both academic and extracurricular activities designed to guide and support a student’s path to college readiness in high school. For instance, high school students can earn:

●        $200 for each A in any core course
●        $150 for each extracurricular activity per school year ($400 for participating in Future Business Leaders of America or Future Educators of America)
●        $8 for every hour of community service, up to $1,600 maximum

Students’ cumulative micro-scholarships serve as a reference for the minimum amount of merit aid they can hope to receive from STAC upon successful application and admittance as high school seniors. The new RaiseMe offering for students is the latest development in STAC’s ongoing commitment to improve clarity and access around financial aid for students, while providing a clear roadmap for specific goals students can complete throughout high school to be college-ready.

Michael DiBartolomeo, Vice President for Enrollment Management stated, “St. Thomas Aquinas College is proud to partner with RaiseMe in an effort to make access to higher education more affordable. By identifying qualified students early in the recruitment process through RaiseMe, we can help them achieve their goal of a high quality education.”
