For a second consecutive year, the Suffolk County Community College Entrepreneurship Assistance Center has won the New York State Entrepreneurship Assistance Center Award for Outstanding Performance and Achievement. Suffolk was presented with the award in Albany on June 12.

Entrepreneurship Assistance Centers provide instruction, training, technical assistance and support services to new and aspiring entrepreneurs in local communities statewide and are strategically located throughout the state. The 24 centers assist new and aspiring entrepreneurs in developing basic business management skills, refining business concepts, devising early-stage marketing plans, and obtaining business financing.
