Dance Kaleidoscope will be performed December 13-15 at the Mainstage Theatre at Nassau Community College. Performed by students, the concert will feature original dance works with choreography by faculty and students. Dance Kaleidoscope is directed by Prof. Paz Tanjuaquio.
Prof. Tanjuaquio is a dance artist based in NYC since 1990, whose works have received awards from the National Endowment for the Arts, Foundation for Contemporary Arts, and Dance/NYC. Her works have been presented throughout New York, as well as nationally and internationally. Prof. Tanjuaquio is the Co-Founder of TOPAZ ARTS in Queens — a nonprofit arts center for contemporary dance and visual arts.
Performances of Dance Kaleidoscope are at 8:00 p.m. December 13 and 14 and 3:00 p.m. on December 15. Tickets are $10.00, discounted to $8.00 for those aged 55 and over.
