The 2020 edition of Phaethon is now available for digital download on the Herkimer College website.
Phaethon is the College’s student-submitted literary arts magazine. At 158 pages, this is the largest Phaethon yet, featuring a cornucopia of fiction, poetry, photography and other creative endeavors. Named after the Greek myth of Phaethon, son of sun god Apollo, who dared attempt to drive Apollo’s chariot that pulls the sun across the sky, the magazine values bold, confident, daring, courageous, and risky fiction, poetry, and art. “We do not value art that tests the boundaries of expression. We value art that obliterates them,” according to faculty advisers.
While a digital version is currently available on the Herkimer College website, print copies will also be available and a release event with poster signing will be held early in the Fall 2020 semester.
