Sean O’Connor, Chartwells Director of Dining Services at Columbia-Greene Community College, has been presented with a Proclamation from the New York State Legislative Body and New York State Senator Kathleen A. Marchione – 43rd Senate District.
O’Connor, of Coxsackie, N.Y., received the honor at the 26th Annual Golden Gathering, in recognition of his years of service, handling, and coordinating of refreshments for the event during his 11 years as Chartwells Dining Services Director at C-GCC.
The Golden Gathering is held at C-GCC each fall, and offers services, health screenings, and other opportunities to seniors and their families in Columbia County, serving more than 1,000 attendees every year.
Chartwells, a recognized leader in contract food service management, provides dining, hospitality, and guest services for more than 280 college and university dining environments across the U.S., including at C-GCC.
