This year Rockland Community College will be holding its annual Job Fair in a virtual format. It will be hosted on the JobNet site, RCC’s Official Employment Center, from Monday,April 12 through Thursday, April 15, 2021. More than 100 companies are expected to participate with openings for part-time, full-time, entry-level and professional positions.
“RCC is thrilled to offer students, alumni, employers, and the community the opportunity to engage in our first Virtual Job Fair Week. So many of our job seeking attendees have been adversely affected financially by the pandemic.Providing them with a virtual platform to network and be recruited by some of the top businesses in our community is invaluable. We know that both applicants and employers will benefit tremendously form participating in our week-long event,” says Joseph Falco, Executive Director of Student Success at RCC.
“From a student’s perspective, it is important to attend the job fair so that you can network and see different job opportunities in your field of study. You can practice your interviewing skills and learn how to make a lasting impression on employers,” says Eesha Uddin, a Liberal Arts: Math & Science major on the Honors Track who is expected to graduate in May 2022.

by March 29, 2021. The cost is $45 per employer.
Students can registerby logging on to theirRCC JobNet account(sunyrockland.edu/jobnet) before Friday, April 9, 2021. There they can view a list of employers. There is no fee for students to participate. Although it is a virtual event, students should dress as though they are meeting potential employers in person.
Community members are invited to attend the virtual fair free of charge. They can register at: https://www.collegecentral.com/sunyrockland/by Friday, April 9, 2021. Once on the site, select Community Residents then create an account and follow the prompts.
Job seekers will be able to see the participating employers two weeks prior to the event. The Employer Profile Search will open on March 29, 2021.
